Sample Analysis

These are the opening titles from ' The blue horse'.

This doesnt have any pictures or anything. It has a one rythm non-digetic soothing music playing at the back ground as we see a Blue colour oil pastel move on a white paper. In the start we see bits of it on the paper along with the line of that colour which gives the impression that some one took our the anger on the paper through the cryon. But then the pastel moves starts moving in all directions.The Effects has been used as we see the blue pasted  disslove into the back ground as the new movement is shown.  As the oil pastel cryon moves we see names/titles appear on the screen on a black colour font with one character or one work in the pastel blue colour. In the middle we see the cryon fall , thats when we can see the bit of persons hand and nail which gives the impression of being a female hand. The white background clour suddenly changes to black and then as the camera moves we see the same colour pastel colouring on the black background and the text now appears in a white font , letter by letter coming from right towards the left.

Sample Analysis

This is a example from the opening titles of 'Lurther'.
This is a "BBC ONE" production and after the first red slide which tells us this, the BBC ONE logo stays on the top left throughout the opening titles clip/ The Clip starts with a non - diegetic tone which is of 4 beats and keeps repeating it self continuously with some seconds intervals throughout the titles. Along with it there is a soft female melodic voice of some women singing which sounds seems like reflecting some memory. As the end of the clip approaches the beat catches on and the music becomes richer.
These titles are not a movie clips of characters but instead it is a combination of graphics.It has a continuous alternating pattern of shades of red and green throughout and the objects can be seen in black. The bold font used is in font colour white and the whole of it is in capital letters.
The names of the characters appear with the shadow of a character and thats exactly how the clip begins. There are distant shots of the characters outline and closeup shots as well. When a new character has to be introduced we are shown thumb prints, buildings, eyes, wires, broken glass , empty tunnel, or other abstract figures.At sometimes the clip gets really fast paced and then gets really slow.
At  the end the clip takes the Red combination again , like the way it began with and it shows a man facing towards the right. This gives an impression of being lonely or unnoticed.
